Advice on Writing

‘No one can advise or help you — no one. There is only one thing you should do. Go into yourself. Find out the reason that commands you to write; see whether it has spread its roots into the very depths of your heart; confess to yourself whether you would have to die if you were forbidden to write.‘ (R M Rilke)

  1. Hi, I would die if I didn’t write, because it is me! This cottage and myself would get along great! If nothing else, I love the idea of this! When we write. we breathe with fuller lungs! I want to thank you for the like and follow! Nice to meet you!

    1. Thank you so much -:)! I am truly novice in blogosphere just trying to find my voice. I appreciate you stopping by very much. And it is so true; if we cannot express ourselves for who we truly are – we may as well not be alive at all. Somebody once told me that ‘we do not write what we know, but to find out what we know’. Nice to meet you to and keep in touch.

  2. Glad you discovered the other blog. Welcome to France! 🙂
Some of us write because there is just no other way. There is so much locked away and it is the only way to purge. Once in awhile something amusing appears.

    1. You are so right -:)! If not write – then what? And I am glad to have discovered the other blog. I love France … I love all things European to be honest. As you know I am from Europe and often long for it.

      Thank you

  3. I once stopped blogging. But couldn’t handle not writing. I just have to have to get these things out of my head, Blogging is a great great outlet for our thoughts.
